Vietnamese EV maker enters the seven-seater segment with a 517 km range model priced for family mobility in India
VinFast launched the VF MPV 7 in India on 15 April 2026. The seven-seater electric MPV carries an introductory price of Rs 24.49 lakh ex-showroom.
This move expands VinFast’s presence in the growing Indian electric vehicle market. It brings a dedicated family option to buyers seeking practical electric mobility.
Entry into the Family Electric Segment
The VinFast VF MPV 7 uses a 60.13 kWh battery pack. It delivers an ARAI-certified range of 517 km on a single charge. The model produces 150 kW of power and supports DC fast charging from 10 to 70 per cent in 30 minutes.

Implications for Indian Mobility
The VinFast VF MPV 7 measures 4,740 mm in length with a 2,840 mm wheelbase. It offers three-row seating and flexible boot space up to 1,240 litres. This design improves people’s movement for large families and group travel.
The model adds to the charging infrastructure demand in cities and on highways. It supports VinFast’s plan to reach 75 showrooms by the end of 2026.
Beyond the Spec Sheet
The VinFast VF MPV 7 changes family movement by enabling longer trips with fewer charging stops. Large groups gain reliable access to electric travel at lower running costs than petrol MPVs.
