Hero MotoCorp plans to launch the Hero Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition in India by March 2026. The variant follows its unveiling at EICMA 2025 and draws from the brand’s Dakar Rally participation.

This launch matters as it strengthens the adventure motorcycle segment. It offers riders in India a more capable off-road option at an accessible price.

Enhanced Off-Road Capability

The Hero Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition features 280 mm of suspension travel at both ends. This setup includes adjustability for varied terrain. Ground clearance reaches 270 mm due to the taller suspension.

Seat height increases over the standard Xpulse 210 model. The bike retains the 210 cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine that produces 24.6 PS power and 20.7 Nm torque. It pairs with a six-speed gearbox.

These changes improve handling on rough surfaces. The Dakar-inspired livery and rally-tuned components differentiate it from the base model.

The Hero Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition targets enthusiasts who ride beyond city limits. It builds on the standard Xpulse 210 launched earlier. Expected pricing sits around Rs 1.90 lakh to Rs 2 lakh ex-showroom due to added equipment.

This positions it as a premium yet affordable choice in the segment. It supports longer expeditions with better shock absorption from uneven roads.

Infrastructure like rural highways and trails benefits from such vehicles. Riders gain confidence in tackling mixed conditions without frequent maintenance stops.
