Renault India has launched the much-anticipated Renault Triber facelift, priced from Rs 6.29 lakh to Rs 9.16 lakh (ex-showroom). This sub-4-meter, 7-seater MPV, first introduced in 2019, gets a significant refresh for 2025.
With bold styling, upgraded safety features, and modern technology, the Renault Triber facelift aims to solidify its position as India’s most affordable MPV. But what makes this update stand out? The Renault Triber facelift sports a revamped exterior that screams modernity. The sharper LED projector headlights with eyebrow-like DRLs and a redesigned bumper with larger air intakes add a premium touch. At the rear, smoked LED tail lamps connected by a gloss-black strip enhance its bold look.
Three new color options, Amber Terracotta, Shadow Grey, and Zanskar Blue, join the palette, replacing older shades like Metal Mustard. Inside, the cabin features a beige-and-black theme, a larger digital instrument cluster, and an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Safety takes a leap with six airbags standard across all variants, along with features such as front parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and cruise control.
However, the 1.0-liter petrol engine (71 bhp, 96 Nm) remains unchanged, paired with a 5-speed manual or AMT. A dealer-fitted CNG kit is also available.
Compared to the outgoing model, the Renault Triber facelift offers a more refined design and better safety. The older Triber had halogen headlights, a simpler grille, and only four airbags in top trims. The interior, previously darker, now feels more airy, and new features like cruise control and a 360-degree camera enhance its appeal.
Yet, the lack of a turbo-petrol option might disappoint those seeking more power.
